Composition wise, I just imagine each panel as a little bit of art. And I try to balance it so the panels aren't too black or too white. That's it really.

I'm also digging the way you've done the profile view of their faces...but, of course, the overall aesthetic (stylized enough, while retaining everything that defines these two characters) is fantastic!! And that last line..."so...ASSIST." XD excellent delivery, my friend.
